It's all over ? No(*). He's still standing(**):Elton John & Brandie Carlile in Swing for the fences:https://youtu.be/16D...W3WYtdQHwjbbPZv

Sorry for the initial inconvenience that did not allow you to see all three YouTube videos but I had to change the browser to Opera. Now you can see Elton John perform with Brandi Carlile and also the two spoilers, greetings.

Laufey was on Jimmy Kimmel last night. She looks like a pop princess, but her songs (which she writes herself) and voice are more like a jazz lounge singer (Wikipedia mentions Ella Fitzgerald and Peggy Lee as her inspirations).

She has a very fun Tiny Desk Concert video that I watched this morning.

A well-made and quality show by Engelbert Humperdinck. I was pleased to hear our Italian song by the very well-known Tony Renis who at the beginning of his career presented Quando, quando, quando (Tell me when) in a not recent Sanremo Festival which had many covers and reinterpretations by various artists and an international hit. Enjoy.

Now I've seen him. Believe me, when I saw 1 reputation on my post in #444 I said to myself: do you think it's Kenberg? And I was right (and it was a month earlier...). In fact, he had contributed like this before. I think I remember that once (at Dianaeva's invitation) we were playmates. I'm sorry this friend is no longer with us. So long.

Anyone else here a fan of Cassandra Jenkins? If you haven’t heard her music, take a listen to her latest two albums…My Light, My Destroyer and its predecessor An Overview on Phenomenal Nature. Too many great tracks to list just a few. But she writes amazing lyrics and the musics pretty good too.

Ok…Clams Casino and Hard Drive.

I say her last two albums but for each of these she released follow up albums with related titles, that contain other versions of the songs and a few different tracks. They’re ok in their own right but one can hear why she chose the songs that made the two ‘main’ albums.

Thx Mike. Always looking for new people to listen to

I hesitate to post my most recent finds. Not sure how accessible they are to present company. Should I?

But I am serious. I am looking up Cassandra Jenkins on Spotify right now. (EDIT sounds very pleasant already) And I am serious. I am not a sarcastic person. I really enjoy music recommendations from people I respect :)

Should I post my favorite bands or albums of 2025 or not? Let me pnnder that

I could post my top 10 votes for the Hottest 100 but not many made the 100 :)

To be fair I will post one of myfavorite artists of the year. Milly Strange. Such an awesome year for music I feel rather useless. But Milly is kind of safe (good) folk rock grunge. Some would say clear references to grunge of the past but good all the same. Just what every cool new artist wants to hear that I like them. But at least her eponymous album is on repeat on my Spotify. When I feel my streams are becoming noticable I feel cool :)
Some of the others I will keep to myself

But my mood RN is Milly Strange
