1NT-2*-X-2**
p-p-3-p
3-p-4

* capp
** just p/c, not natural

what is this last bid? I know it's Gerber but this is an event where Gerber was banned, so it's not Gerber.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

Gerber banned? I don't believe my eyes... Even if Gerber were not banned, 4C cannot be Gerber. What was the Dbl of the 2C overcall? Many play it as Stayman but did you?

4C is a cue, agreeing hearts.

Actually, this has nothing to do with cappelletti,
the auction is similar to

1NT - (2D (1)) - 3D - ...

(1) nat.

a typical Lebensohl seq., where 3D is stayman
showing / denying a stopper, you know your
agreements.

With kind regards
