I'm a believer.

I think partner just got caught in an extreme lead-director. I'm assuming something like AQJ xxx Q10xxxx x. Took a chance because you passed, looking for a two-way winner. Either you somehow end up on lead and try spades, or we pick off spades, or just something amusing happens.

I mean, he might have a fourth spade, too. But, definitely canape. If he has four spades, his diamonds really suck. Maybe AQJx xx J10xxxx x.
"Gibberish in, gibberish out. A trial judge, three sets of lawyers, and now three appellate judges cannot agree on what this law means. And we ask police officers, prosecutors, defense lawyers, and citizens to enforce or abide by it? The legislature continues to write unreadable statutes. Gibberish should not be enforced as law."
