Club lead feels right.

I also like a club lead.

But I guess I'm assuming partner would be able to bid 4 or something if we have slam on, rather than a takeout double.

It seems the pass brigade is taking charge. I happened to also choose pass. However, I think it's close and a couple of world class players I asked did not choose pass. They said "These are the only colors where it's a problem hand."

I agree with them, 4 seems like a good option at this vulnerability althou it would be a headache for partner.

Partner didn't need to double to rescue us, our double is penalty at the 3 level, so he is suposed to have a good hand and not just any hand with a void, but if he doesn't have 5 diamonds or 6 spades the hand won't be great because we will lack tricks/trumps.

I also pick pass and lead 10

I'm not so quick to pass. Depending on the strength of partner's hand, we rate to do quite well opposite 6(43)0 or the nuts 5440.

4 for me.

My instinct was to pass too.

But what is the worst hand partner may hold?

Is Kxxxx, AKxx, AQxx, - a normal hand for his bid? Vul. forcing us to the third level?
And this is a slam, you may even take all the tricks.
I try 4 and bid 4 over partners bid if possible or 6 over 4 from him.
Kind Regards

Roland

Over to you.
IMO _P =10, 4 = 5.
It is dangerous too rely on the bidding of non-vul opponents. Partner's hand may be 5431 or even 5332 shape.
