Many possibilities, but I think I'm going with 3♠. I think I should be declarer in a trump game because there's a high hint at a heart ace, heart ruff start. If pard bids 3NT over 3♠, I'm ok with it.

3H. 3N is an awful bid, you must be getting a club lead a large portion of the time.

Why 3♥? Don't you think that's likely to attact a 3NT bid more often than a delayed raise?

Well I am most surely on the way to game and it will not be NT. The question for me is, do we have a partner that makes trashy 2 level over calls on 5 baggers. I would try 3H after 2N with the intention of bidding 4D over 3N. I think this will allow partner to show a hand with 2S. I am allowing him some room for his 2N bid to contain just 1S.

3♥, partner will often bid 3NT, but he will bid 3♠ with 2 cards since we already know he's got stopper.

I like 3♥. If partner bids 3♠ I'll raise, if he bids 3N I'll pass and hope for the best. Taking 11 tricks in 5♦ seems like too big of a challenge, as opener will usually have at least one of the red aces.

I would love to bid 3D if it was forcing but I consider it to be non forcing, as is 3S, thus 3H.
