If no one comes from the future to stop you from doing it then how bad a decision could it really be?

Yes, it looks like a normal minimum. I'd rather double with this than with a 3433 14-count.
... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn

No for me.

That said, I'd very willingly overcall 1NT with this hand as a light takeout, Baron treatment. (Or, "RUNT.")

And we ask police officers, prosecutors, defense lawyers, and citizens to enforce or abide by it? The legislature continues to write unreadable statutes. Gibberish should not be enforced as law."

Can't find an option to vote for in this (push) poll, but I would double.
That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

"Double now and duck later" describes my view exactly. I certainly would not describe passing as wussy. But yeah, I'll double.

I choose a double now, but agree it is a bare minimum and I might pass next time. Don't understand gnasher's view.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

At IMPS, the double may be quite reckless. When partner bids 2 with 4 little hars and the contract goes -800, partner and teammates are not going to be happy about your double.

This hand has too many flaws for me to double, especially at IMP scoring. It's closer at MP, but at vulnerable I would still pass. Having only three hearts is a big negative when doubling a spade opening, and I would like some extra values and/or shape to compensate.
