You tortured the robot (3S), and he got revenge. I assume 2S showed the club fit, and at least invite. If you had just an invite, you could pass 3C, so the critter does not have a very great opener. With my regular partner 3S would ask for a partial. With a machine, I choose five clubs ---which might not make opposite one of my opening bids.

I also would not be happy if my regular pard had Q-doubleton

Just curious, are you playing with the standard bots or the more expensive, expert bots?

Tournament robots are supposed to be the same as the advanced rental bots.
