2NT = standard invitational. Generic 2/1, let's assume we are not playing some exotic (yet surely superior) homemade system.

How do you prefer to play 3D rebid by North - forcing or no? How about 3C?
If no one comes from the future to stop you from doing it then how bad a decision could it really be?
