Grand too optimistic in my view

If the diagram is correct, and the question marks are what to do over 6C, I think I will try a double :rolleyes: But I might not have tried 4S/1C with the hand shown.

I would bid 7C at MP but its not like I have experience with these kind of hands.
From Psych "I mean, Gus and I never see eye-to-eye on work stuff.
For instance, he doesn't like being used as a human shield when we're being shot at.
I happen to think it's a very noble way to meet one's maker, especially for a guy like him.
Bottom line is we never let that difference of opinion interfere with anything."

For GIB 6♣ should have 21+TP.

So if opener has likely 17,18+TP it might bid 7C (after simulation or not ) just because points are too close to the obligation to be more then 6.

It seems like it needs a more strict rule for bidding a grand than just total points.
