Gib tends to auto-jump with 10+ pts opposite takeout doubles. Although that's generally right when partner doubled a *one-bid*, and sometimes still right after advancer raises, I don't think it should be so eager to do it after 1M-2M-dbl auctions, since that necessitates going to the 4 level. I think GIB should just bid 3 on a wider range, and considerably wider when partner is a passed hand. There's a lot of upside in pushing the opps up one and winning 3m making/2s making double partial swings, without having to go for TEN tricks, esp with no game bonus for 4m.

At least it shouldn't jump bid with useless spade values but they'd never work hard on GIB's hand evaluation.
