3 shows a maximum hand with A or King. You can be sure that partner has never ever heard of ogust. What would you bid now?

After making sure the color on the backs of his cards is the same as that on the backs of mine, I would try to guess whether pard has QXXX of spades or a void/singleton.

Might survive either case with a 3NT punt.

IMO 4 = 10, 4 = 9, 3N = 8, Guessing that partner is max with at least Qxx e.g.
