Do Robots Think Other Robots Psych?

Note that the system notes for both of North's bids say it has 4+♠. The only time I have seen human partners bid this way (overruling partner's preference not to play in the opponent's bid suit) is when they have become enraged at an opponent in the certainty that he/she has psyched. What causes a robot to bid and rebid a 3-card suit?
