There has to be a better way.
I just subbed in with about 6 or 7 cards left. I was able to see last trick so knew trump had been pulled but that's it. There was 3 suits in play and I had no idea what was good or outstanding. I was just playing random cards.
Surely a robot would do better.
Maybe let you see the cards played, I know that's possible when kibitzing, but this still won't tell you if you've taken a finesse that works etc.
