Yes, GIB needs to be programmed to take the ♥A and also send a chat message "not through the Iron Silicon Duke".

Time to actually do a simulation based on the bidding- still waiting for that to happen. Simulation module- "I just never get used- BBO says I do but I am not used when it come to play in defence".

I don't see how simulations figure. Rising and cashing never fails. South has not even psyched.
Psych (pron. saik): A gross and deliberate misstatement of honour strength and/or suit length. Expressly permitted under Law 73E but forbidden contrary to that law by Acol club tourneys.
Psyche (pron. sahy-kee): The human soul, spirit or mind (derived, personification thereof, beloved of Eros, Greek myth).
Masterminding (pron. mstr-mnding) tr. v. - Any bid made by bridge player with which partner disagrees.
"Gentlemen, when the barrage lifts." 9th battalion, King's own Yorkshire light infantry,
2000 years earlier: "morituri te salutant"
"I will be with you, whatever". Blair to Bush, precursor to invasion of Iraq

Simulations figure because East wants to weight the probabilities that (a)he's likely to set the contract more than one if he ducks, versus (b)ducking allows South to cash 9 tricks first. The answer probably hinges on South's likelihood of having five clubs.

OK. In weighing up those probabilities it is to be hoped that it factors in the marginal additional value of the additional undertrick against the marginal additional cost of letting it make.
