GIB advances in 4-card suit rather than 6-card suit

Playing as south vs 3 GIBs, I was surprised north chose to bid 3♥ and not 3♠ or 4♠. Doesn't seem to be anything indicating ♥ are better.

Sometimes GIB plays canape (bids shorter suit before a longer suit). It's a well known feature. :)

at least this time it showed a major! sometimes it shows a minor over a major.
