Announcement - if you have completed 9/9 matches, you may challenge those in the other pool who have also completed 9/9 matches (but not others).
This tournament will be IMP, best-hand. Scores converted to VPs as normal.
We have a comfy 19 entries, so I've added GIB to make two pools of 10.
The twist? The top ten in each pool will progress to round 2.
That's right, this is actually going to be a full round robin, since that works out to be pretty much exactly the same number of challenges to reach the semifinals as previous events. But we'll stick with completing one pool at a time, so people don't get too far behind (or ahead, if nige1 attempts to play 19 challenges in a day ).
Otherwise, you've all played before; you know the drill.
The deadline for the first [half] round is 15 April, 11:59pm EST.
The deadline for the second round is May 3rd, 11:59pm EST.

I was hesitating to join, but if you like, I could be entry no. 20 to remove the need to invite GIB.
The easiest way to count losers is to line up the people who talk about loser count, and count them. -Kieran Dyke

Something weird is happening with my account and that indirectly means:
Something weird is happening in GROUP B
- Earlier today, I challenged Natali_ and Garant_7
- Later in the evening, I found both challenges accepted and I played both
- My match with Natali_ has gone, while the match with Garant_7 still stands, with red light
That suggests hypothesis A - Natali_ has played, while Garant_7 haven't played yet
- I haven't got any results, so I have no official links to post
That suggests hypothesis B - they both accepted my challenges, but haven't played yet
- In my "Recent Hands" section, the last 32 boards seemingly represent these two matches and have results in IMPs
That suggests hypothesis C - They both played
Obviously, at most one of these (seemingly well grounded) hypotheses is right...
Anyway, it seems that I lost the Garant_7 match by 4 IMPs and won the Natali_ match by 10 IMPs
(O course, it's NOT an official report...)

Have I "exceeded the limits on active PK-challenge"?
The system says I have...
How I've done it and what are the consequences?
