I had that problem with Windows 10 a few versions ago. As new versions came out the error finally went away. My workaround was to edit the convention card using Microsoft Edge, which saved the card with no problem.

What program are you using for convention card?
Safety tip: saving is allowed before you have spent an hour of time on your work.

I assume he was talking about the BBO convention card editor, so I moved the thread to the more appropriate forum. I'll take a look.

It looks like you were able to save some CCs on Saturday, although not the one you were trying to edit Friday night. Did you get what you needed done? Unfortunately, the specific error that the utility gets is not saved anywhere, so I can't tell what the problem was on Friday.

Be sure the name for your partner is his/her bbo user name. Otherwise you cannot save the card.

I am having the same problem. I have tried:
1. Partner box = partner's user name + Title box = user name, and
2. Partner box = partner user name + Title box = partner's actual name, and
3. Partner box = partner's actual name + Title box = partner's user name, AND
4. Both boxes = partner's actual name
It should not matter which browser is used. If you can log in, then it should work for cc editing. I find it rather disconcerting that BBO's help "desk" or "help" web site can not answer this issue. It looks like BBO is depending on us users to figure out the solutions to their software problems.
Does anyone know how to correct this situation? Without having to redo the editing in M/S Edge.
Thanks

I also discovered that if your partner has created an ID but not yet performed a login/out then you cannot tie the convention card to them.
