I'd like a few times a month to run a 20 to 30 minute post-game postmortem teaching session where I'd quickly discuss a few interesting boards plus take questions from others after an ACBL virtual club 199er or 399er game. I know many clubs do this occasionally.
What is the best method of communication for this? Zoom? A BBO teaching table (which I know absolutely nothing about at the moment)?

An extra question - if I create the teaching table and import a LIN file (in my case, it will be a LIN file of the 36 Common Game deals of which the first 22 will be played, finished less than 30 minutes earlier), is there any way the "teacher" can select which of the 36 boards to display without hitting "Redeal" a bunch of times? Is there any way to go backwards, so if after discussing Board 10 I want to go back to Board 5, how would I do that?

Hi Bud
Yes - the hands can be uploaded individually to a BBO teaching table and usually (though it has been hit and miss lately) you have access to the BBO voice feature. I find the best way to conduct a session is to use Zoom for voice but have the students kib at the BBO table.
As for selecting the hands to discuss, I usually work that from Deal Archive. You can select the hand from there and export it to a teaching table.
If you need help let me know. I will contact you by BBO mail.

I currently do this several times each week. I tried the teaching table and I tried using Handviewer links shared in Zoom. I have found the most effective is to load the file from the common game into BridgeComposer. I then conduct the session completely in Zoom by sharing my screen so they all see the deal open in BridgeComposer. It is easy to bounce back and forth between hands this way. Also, I have a number of tablet users and they find it difficult to use BBO and Zoom at the same time.
You lose the ability to play the hands, but these discussions tend to focus on bidding at the x99er level. I put the suggested auction in BridgeComposer so they all see that on the screen. It is also then easy to create a PDF to send them after the session. I add a few notes for each hand to go along with the auctions.
