Scoring: IMP

1H-2D-2S-3H
?

Playing SAYC at IMP pairs with a new, but presumably competent partner. Opponents are of unknown quality. What now?

I expect you'd open 3.
... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn

I think 1 has a lot going for it. I just walked LHO into bidding his seven-bagger in diamonds, and RHO is desperately trying to expose my psychic. This will never stop until we hammer them a couple of sweaty-brow times.
"Gibberish in, gibberish out. A trial judge, three sets of lawyers, and now three appellate judges cannot agree on what this law means. And we ask police officers, prosecutors, defense lawyers, and citizens to enforce or abide by it? The legislature continues to write unreadable statutes. Gibberish should not be enforced as law."
