LeBron James is pretty good as a basketball player. Overall, the one thing I noticed in the game today between the Heat and the Thunder is that the Heat's two superstars, James and Wade, are simply better at the fundamentals and more consistently put into practice the basics of the game than do the Thunder's best players.
The most revealing play of the game to me was when James made an incredible bounce pass to Wade, who then had an open lane for a layup, but instead of showing off or stopping to watch, James followed the play and set himself up for a possible offensive rebound if Wade happened to miss.
Following your own shot for a rebound and moving your feet on defense - it is hard to beat sound fundamentals - especially when it comes from superstars.
