are there notes somewhere other than bugs listed here?
it seems like there are too many weird bids it makes that i have no idea what they are based on.
maybe instead of having a forum of bugs, we should have a forum for what the nuances of its system is.
take for example:
1♦ pass pass 1♥
pass 1♠ pass pass
x 2♠ pass pass
pass
GIB bids ♠'s twice on four card suit, holding 3 card support for partner.
now at end of hand the ♠ bid show 3♥ and 4+♠, I guess I can see that the first time
but bidding them a second time??? Is this actually programmed in?

Which I have already commented on as vastly too little. Why not a Full Disclosure file?

Can you post a link to the particular hand? Everything is alerted and generally explained in the alert. Now and then I've noticed some 'bugs" or errors in the programming, but its not common.

What version is used (windows or web), were these GIBs rented ( for a duplicate table play ) or it was robot tournament.
Any detail would be in use for deducting the situation.

It seems to me that what pigpenz and cloa are saying is:
Suppose I want to learn, study and/or teach GIB's bidding system. It would be nice if there were system notes that allowed us to do this. Although I can click on any bid that GIB makes to see what it meant, and I can preview meanings before I make a bid, it's certainly non-optimal to have to click around on lots of potential bids before selecting one. As an example, suppose the North and South hands were reversed on the following deal; it would never occur to me to bid 3♥ to show ♠ support. Is this treatment somewhere in the system notes?

Translating it into a FD CC would be extremely difficult, perhaps impossible. FD doesn't have enough flexibility, it doesn't allow you to express conditionals. All you can do in FD is describe basic sequences.
The published system notes are just a rough outline of the approach that was used to create the bidding database, much like the convention cards used in f2f bridge.
What we really need is something like the system notes that expert, established partnerships have. Unfortunately, I think writing such a thing would be a major project for someone. They'd have to go through the bidding database line by line, translating all the significant entries into human language.

I have looked at wiki pages but never edited one before, another thing that could be helpful in the fourm here is that once there is a nuance
logged as a bug or bidding interpetation that it could get into a pinned part of the forum
eg-bugs
eg-bidding nuances

We could have implicit agreements (disclosable) with a Robot, and GBRK perhaps not known by an opponent.
