You are asking if we should risk playing under K in order to get our ruff or not at mp. It is % play to go for it and you should underplay your K now, this was the plan when we played at trick 2, isn't it ?

Well it is close IMO, I didn't mention it but declarer played a spot at trick 1, so partner has either Qxx or Jxx, based on the bidding we have to weigh how much the Q would help partner raise versus how much the Q would help declarer have a 2 bid, I think you are right that partner is more likely to have the Q but it is not so far from 50%.

But partner knows which diamond honor he holds, and he had a chance to give us some kind of signal at trick 2, are you happy saying it is just a guess?

Here are my thoughts, eager to hear opinions from A/E...
