What do you lead at MPs?

What do you lead at IMPs?

*** I assume 2C natural sets my lead. C6 for me.
Best on not, partner suggested this escape suit.
If 2C was some conventional escape start, what did that suggest?

2C is what it says in the tooltip - either Cs, or any other 2 suits. We have no further info except the opps' bids and our hand to tell us which. If the opps had doubled, he would have XXed, passed or bid again to clarify.

I don't understand your last question.

I would lead a spade. It looks like any lead might pick up partner's queen or jack, if he has 1, so my best hope is to lead my longest suit and try to establish some tricks.

4. If partner has clubs, there may still be time to switch. If partner has two suits that include spades, and I lead a club, I not only concede a tempo to declarer to establish clubs, I lose tempo in setting up spade winners for our side.

I went for the A (at MPs). I figured if P had them it might give us an outside chance of setting the contract if he had such as QTxxx and someone had Kx or if someone had Jx and he could somehow muster an outside entry.

If he didn't have them, it looked relatively unlikely to blow a trick.

Club ace seems to be the Bird/Anthias lead here, probably with a heart as 2nd lead.

IMO 4 = 10, A = 9, 6 = 8, J = 7, 2 = 6, = 4.
Since you cannot rely on RHO's bidding, perhaps you should fall back on percentages. Partner seems more likely to hold 2 other suits than a club single-suiter. Even if the lead isn't optimal, it may eventually set up a trick by force, if the opponent with A has fewer than 4 .

I'm leading a heart. Seems like the least likely lead to blow a trick.
