Question: I Failed to Use LIN File in a Team Match I'm trying to use a .lin file in a team match but I failed.

I generated a .lin file using my dealing software(programmed my myself). The content of the file is:

There are 16 lines in total. I imported these boards to my deal archive. When I'm trying to "use saved deals" when creating a team match, the popup window says:
"
Upload Hands
Could not upload boards. Error=95\nUsing random deals
"

How can I solve his problem?

I cut and pasted the four lines into a lin file, uploaded them to my deal archive, and was able to use them at a teaching table and to create a teams match.

So the problem is in the remaining lines of the file or in your process.

If you post the 16 lines then I'm happy to try the complete file.

Firstly, I get the same error :)
I think you have found a bug in the BBO code that processes this, but I don't work for BBO so I cannot check.

The first hand that causes a problem is hand 7, then hand 10 and hands 14-16. I found that I could correct the problem for hand 7 by putting the fourth hand explicitly. For example,

I suspect if you put the fourth hand for all the hands, then it will resolve your issue.

I test this using a Practice Table and just hitting redeal after selecting the saved archive. It tells me which hands do not upload and I presume that the teams interface uses the same.

Okay, I've found the underlying problem, whether it is a BBO bug is open to interpretation :)

When you have a void, you do not put the suit (SHDC) in the hand.

So in board 7, the second hand has

SADAQJ52CQ965432

It should be

SAHDAQJ52CQ965432

Note the third character differs.

If you replace your file with

Problem solved, and I alternated my software to prevent this happen again. :)
