Vul vs NV, IMPs, you hold:

A532
8762
AQ8
KJ.

RHO opens 3 in second seat. Your turn.

Pauble. Or possible Doubass.

I don't mind either pass or double, although if I had to pick exactly one I would pass.

3NT is horrible.

I'd pass. Give me AJxx xxxx AQxx Kx and I would double. I think.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

I agree it's borderline. I'm still chuckling at imagining Frances saying "Doubass".

I'm also chuckling that Han wants a 4=4=4=2.

Hmm, six replies, five of which sound like they are voting for pass even if it is close while the 6th says it is borderline and doesn't say which way he leans. Yet, the poll vote is 3 to 3.

Easy pass with partner a passed hand, especially at IMP scoring where there is little difference between +100 and +140.

Pass. I don't think it's even a hard decision with such amazingly terrible suits and so much in clubs, although of course there will be times that doubling works better.

If PD opens at all aggressively, I feel it is best to pass this as you won't make enough games to compensate for the times you get drilled when PD has trash.

anything other than 4H is "resulting"

Over 4H, partner could still bid 5C, which we would carry to 6.
