Pass is weird. I mean, this could well be a hand on which whoever declares is doomed, especially if the bidding is unrevealing to the opps, but I could never stomach leaving the opps the 1 level when I hold this shape
5♣ has probably the second-most going for it. It really jams the bidding and we will very often get an helpful diamond lead, and RHO might be unable to resist flying with an honour on a low spot lead from LHO....why would RHO read it as the singleton it is, rather than a lead away from the Q?
But I voted for the mundane 2♣ call, fairly sure that the auction will continue while being less sure of whether that will be good news for me.
The longer I spend typing this post, the better I like 5♣. In fact, despite my vote for 2♣ I now bid 5♣.

My long diamonds aren't that valuable, but I want to bury their majors, so 5♣ it is.
edit: Should 4N show this hand??

RHO has expectation of around 4♦, 3 is possible, but so is 5 or 6, this leaves partner with 1.5♦, RHO's failure to open 1♠ give him a little below average so partner has a little more.
RHO has opened the bidding, and we are very strong he is the most likelly to hold all honnor cards, I am not applying much science here, but my gut tells me partner will have a cover card around 1/5 of the time. And we haven't yet started to think about ♦J.
This all tells me that 5♣ is overwhemly favourite to be our best spot, so I bid it and put pressure on a not so unlikelly possible major 2 suiteron LHO's hand.

Even if you had a perfect way to show this hand, partner can't tell the difference between ♥A and ♠A, maybe he has a way to raise to slam with ♦K or ♦ singleton and some clubs, but can you really trust him to be that smart?

However, against weak opps can I bid 6C since I'm getting a diamond lead?

If we bid 5C there's no way we'll find out about it. With 2C, it's still ridiculously unlikely given the outstanding 25 major-suit cards, but possible, e.g. partner has a good chunk of the outstanding strength and a ~4513, and we bid (1D); 2C-(p/X)-2D-(p); 4H (exclusion).

Mr1303's plan to justify the 2C bid is as good as any.
